What a wonderful island Sifnos is… a complete surprise! It still has the right dose of authentic Greek culture, has not yet been discovered by the masses and, fortunately, does not have the same atmosphere as Mykonos (even though this island is only a two-hour boat ride away). The interior is rugged, the beaches are beautiful and the sea water is crystal clear. Lots of nice restaurants and the perfect Greek vibe. I found several Hideaways for you! One hotel is more family-oriented and the other is more refined and adults-only!

This time I will surprise you with two Hideaways from the same owner but in different locations on the island and with completely different atmospheres. One hotel is more family-oriented and is located near the lively Platis Gialos. Nice rooms, a good breakfast, a cosy bar and a swimming pool are the ingredients for a carefree holiday. Cross the street and you’re on the beach (not the most beautiful beach on the island in my opinion), where you’ll also find a selection of nice restaurants – plenty of lunch and dinner options – offering front-row sea views.
The sister hotel is spectacularly situated on a cliff, is more refined and caters to a different target group: adults only. This luxury hotel is a perfect escape on the island and has beautiful, comfortable rooms, a fantastic spa (with, I think, one of the most beautiful views you can imagine), a very good restaurant (both the spa and restaurant are also open to non-hotel guests) and a lovely swimming pool. You really need a car for this accommodation as it is remote and beaches or charming villages are not within walking distance.
Of course, a combination of both hotels is also a good idea, offering you different locations on the island to discover!
