I totally agree: the architecture and design are in perfect harmony with the natural environment, the staff are warm and lots of love and attention went into creating a unique pampering retreat…..this LH is a non-conformist sanctuary in Fátima!
A lovely contemporary B&B situated in one of my favourite parts of Portugal: the Costa Vicentina. This stunning coastline along the Atlantic Ocean beneath Lisbon, is located in the Alentejo, and reaching all the way to the southernmost part of the Algarve. Great beaches, surfing, hiking and biking, this area is an outdoor haven!
A beautiful old finca with an enormous garden, an oasis of quiet pleasantness tucked away in the countryside of Ibiza. Especially during the ‘off’ season is this an affordable luxury retreat, very much worth to splurge! Yoga and spa at this Hideaway are fab! A place to experience pure island bliss!
Admittedly, it takes some effort this Local Hideaway, but it’s definitely worth it: this is off the beaten track Mexico, hardly any tourists. Get in touch with local Mexican farm life and stay in a comfortable family-run hotel. The Maya ruins of Palenque, Bonampak and Yaxchilán are only one hour drive so you will have best of both worlds!
