There’s another new kid in town…. This hideaway is perfect for foodies! Hidden among centuries-old olive trees and cork oaks in the heart of the Alentejo, you’ll find a top restaurant where you can also stay overnight, how convenient. Indulge your taste buds with a refined menu where the flavours of the Alentejo take centre stage. You will be immensely pampered here by the friendly and capable staff and the matching wines are the best gems from the region. Then roll right into your super comfy bed, the rooms are gorgeous and furnished with the finest local deco items. In the morning, you wake up to the sound of the birds… if the weather is nice, take a refreshing dip in the pool before breakfast. What a wonderful place, a real treat! Tip: take the train from Lisbon and let the enchanting landscape of the Alentejo glide past you. Évora is just around the corner, also highly recommended!
For years, my love and I have been dreaming of our own Local Hideaway… a nice place under the sun where we can stay a bit longer, work remotely and unwind to the max. And so some years ago we bought Casa Cubista, a spacious town house an hour’s drive from Malaga located in a small authentic white mountain village in the Axarquia, Andalusia. Now that everything is ready and we have been enjoying the house regularly ourselves, it is time to share it with like-minded people. If you are looking for an unspoilt place to hike, write or paint, work or just unwind, in short enjoy authentic Spanish life then Casa Cubista is the perfect Hideaway for you!
A real family home, SO stylish, like staying in an interior design book. Inspiration for your home! But with only this description, you don’t do justice to the house because it also has a huge soul. There is room for 9/10 people and it is fully equipped. It is a great place to be all year round. The area is beautiful and is a perfect base to explore the Algarve. But it is also the perfect Hideaway to unwind and do nothing… together with family and/or friends.
What a beautiful new addition is this Hideaway on Portugal’s west coast, just an hour north of Lisbon. In this brand new hotel, careful consideration has been given to what the contemporary and pampered traveller needs. Rooms that not only look very handsome but are also very comfortable with a great bed, a good power shower and a terrace/balcony for hot days. There is a good spa, a fine outdoor pool and the food by chef Alexandre Silva is a treat that people come over for even from Lisbon.
