Ooh là là… such a special Hideaway this is! A super luxury boutique hotel in Lisbon’s city centre. Biggest surprise? A garden with a pool, a true urban oasis! So much time, energy and money has gone into restoring this old city palace to its full glory… and with such an eye for details. The various rooms are fully equipped and utterly beautiful. The service is 5 stars, pure indulgence. The place for a special occasion and to celebrate life. One problem… you don’t want to go into the city anymore!
This luxury hotel is a great escape for gourmet people! The grand old building houses a modern annexe with a very good restaurant (Michelin Bib Gourmand). Fine dining – in your room during covid19 restrictions – and afterwards roll into your comfi kingsize bed, how lovely is that! Soaking in bath in a very spacious bathroom is also possible in certain rooms… you will return home totally relaxed. And as a big bonus: the highly recommended centre of the hanseatic city Zwolle is just a stone’s throw away!
There was one thing missing in my favourite Dutch city Deventer… a nice hotel! Check! There is now a perfect Hideaway, contemporary, in a beautiful old building and bang in the middle of the city! Even now during Covid19 Lockdown a lovely escape: they serve breakfast in the room, you can play your own DJ set on the ‘old skool’ recordplayer and there is a list with favourite take-away adresses in your room. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the beds are very comfi and the (different type of) rooms are stylish. I can’t wait till this pandemic is over and the lively bar of this hotel (also open to non-hotel guests) is a vibrant meeting point in town! And I haven’t even mentioned the beautiful surroundings of Deventer… well, hereby!
