I have a new happy place… a place where I have set my heart on having my own Hideaway – Casa Cubista in Sedella. It is located in the Axarquía, the area east of Malaga. Not yet very well known and it has everything: sea, mountains, nature, a wonderful microclimate and a choice of white villages. Because I now spend so much time in this part of Andalusia, I came across this striking guesthouse, located in the neighbouring village. Contemporary, comfortable, affordable and a super deluxe breakfast… an absolute insider tip!
Such a lovely and contemporary B&B in the white mountain village Canillas de Aceituno. The standard and deluxe rooms have a lovely bed, a fine rain shower and are equipped with all conveniences. The top floor of the building houses a fantastic apartment, perfect for a longer stay or if you are travelling with a slightly larger party. It has a bedroom, bathroom, living with kitchen & (spacious) sofa bed and a fantastic terrace with views over the village and the spectacular sunset!
And then the biggest surprise awaits you in the morning: the super-deluxe breakfast… gosh, what a treat! Even the traditional Spaniard, who normally only goes for a café con leche and tostada, is enthralled with this!
A perfect start to the day to then explore the beautiful surroundings. You can be on the beach in 20 minutes, Malaga is 40 minutes, the immediate area is a true walking paradise with the El Saltillo suspension bridge just around the corner.
