The white gate of this rural hideaway in central Algarve is easy to drive past… it looks like the entrance to a huge orange plantation. But this is exactly where you need to be! The owner, also hostess, has recently transformed this family property into a bed & breakfast. The atmosphere is relaxed, each cottage has its own kitchen/living room and bedroom with bathroom. The private terrace in front of the room overlooks the large garden with lavender, flowers and palms. For a glass of fresh juice you pick your own oranges, the press is in the kitchen. And there is no need to rush for breakfast: it is delivered to your doorstep in a wicker basket.
The main building, which is also the reception area, is a large lounge with different sitting areas, large sofas and beautiful details. As if you were a guest of an interior designer.
A car is a must have so you can make trips to the beach or the Roman town of Silves. And if you happen to be here on the second Monday of the month, keep some space free in your suitcase because there is a large market nearby where you can also buy many local delicacies.
Will it be inside, on the terrace or a spot in the garden where you will start the day? Or some laps in the refreshing pool?! This is a beautiful hidden spot near the lively part of the Algarve!
