For all your retro lovers out there… this forest house is totally a la mode! A stay in this house is a real trip down memory lane. The house is hidden in the woods and is suitable for max. 4 persons (no children under 12 and the double bed is 140×200). Don’t expect old-fashioned comfort, this house is very complete, well appointed and cosy. For the winter months there is a gas heater, coffee and tea is there to be used, your bed is made, there is a good shower and during the summer months you can enjoy the spacious forest garden to the fullest. The perfect base for long walks and bike rides. But also my favourite city Deventer is around the corner.
In my beloved childhood surroundings of Holten, east part of the Netherlands, Marleen and Martijn have renovated a second Hideaway in the forest. Retro is the theme for this holiday rental for four, definitely not stuffy, but super cozy and comfortable. Perfect for some serious R&R in the woods! A great place for all seasons!
If there is one place in this world that I’m really attached to, it’s Holten. Not by any means well- known, but there you have it… it is simply wonderful. This is Holland at its absolute best! I have to admit I’m rather prejudiced, for I have lots of memories here! I took a sentimental journey and found a lovely cosy little house in the woods.
