An extraordinary eco oasis tucked away in the south-western part of Andalusia in the fascinating surroundings of ‘off the beaten track’ NP Cabo de Gata-Nijar! A part of Spain that is often overlooked, but with some of the most beautiful bays and beaches, most of them completely empty throughout the year.
If there is one place in this world that I’m really attached to, it’s Holten. Not by any means well- known, but there you have it… it is simply wonderful. This is Holland at its absolute best! I have to admit I’m rather prejudiced, for I have lots of memories here! I took a sentimental journey and found a lovely cosy little house in the woods.
A truly magical place in Centro Portugal, or, as the owners call it themselves: a ‘Soul Experience’. I totally agree: the architecture and design are in perfect harmony with the natural environment, the staff are warm and lots of love and attention went into creating a unique pampering retreat…..this LH is a non-conformist sanctuary in Fátima!
A lovely contemporary B&B situated in one of my favourite parts of Portugal: the Costa Vicentina. This stunning coastline along the Atlantic Ocean beneath Lisbon, is located in the Alentejo, and reaching all the way to the southernmost part of the Algarve. Great beaches, surfing, hiking and biking, this area is an outdoor haven!
