In my beloved childhood surroundings of Holten, east part of the Netherlands, Marleen and Martijn have renovated a second Hideaway in the forest. Retro is the theme for this holiday rental for four, definitely not stuffy, but super cozy and comfortable. Perfect for some serious R&R in the woods! A great place for all seasons!
If there is one place in this world that I’m really attached to, it’s Holten. Not by any means well- known, but there you have it… it is simply wonderful. This is Holland at its absolute best! I have to admit I’m rather prejudiced, for I have lots of memories here! I took a sentimental journey and found a lovely cosy little house in the woods.
The Duke is a real asset for Den Bosch, not only because of its gorgeous and original decoration, but especially because of the ambitious entrepreneurship displayed by the young owners and their staff. They represent a new movement and have a cosmopolitan view of how to run their hotel, displaying a keen eye for detail!
