Upon entering, I have a flashback and I think for a moment that I am entering a riad in Marrakech… not surprising because the Moorish influences are omnipresent in my favourite Olhão! Tucked away in one of the narrow streets filled with white cubist houses you will find this beautiful Hideaway. The big surprise awaits upstairs: the roof terrace… an inviting small swimming pool, a lovely lounge terrace and the most spectacular view over the roofs of Olhão and the sea!
Do you want a bit more space and facilities but the real Local Hideaways DNA… then I highly recommend this small-scale luxury resort in Eastern Algarve. Beautifully situated with spacious gardens, shuttle service to the (private) beach, two pools and 2 restaurants. A relaxing place for couples but definitely also when travelling with kids!
My new home away from home in the trendy Foz do Douro area in Porto. A magnificent building where the old and the new are perfectly integrated. The contemporary minimalistic interior design and the warm personality of the staff blend in naturally and make this Hideaway a great base to explore Porto and its surroundings.
Such a beautiful and super comfortable house in the centre of Olhão: a lovely fishing village in eastern Algarve. A foodies heaven while the owners want to share their passion for food: the kitchen is fully equipped and they share all their favourite delicatessen and restaurants in and around town. La dolce vita in Portugal!
